"America's Children" you shall not be forgotten!
For every one suffers the pain of your death
And there is little comfort in knowing
You have found a world more peaceful
than the cruel one that you left

In your passing, all of our lives were touched
Darkness veils the sun
Where once shone the light of joy
Innocent babes, what have they done?

Together the world shed tears of dismay
As your bodies were pulled from the rubble
Broken and bloodied amidst the ruins you laid

With you "America's Children"
Perished part of my vision for the future.
Every heart swollen with sorrow
So fragile the dreams
That once appeared strong
How dare they destroy our hope for tomorrow

Where?
Oh God, where did we go wrong?
