A Mother's Prayer
Home · Contact

I want to thank you Lord,
For the gift bestowed upon me.
I shall never know a greater joy,
My children are all that I need.

Although I can't be perfect,
I will surely do my best,
I brought them into this world,
Now, please help me with the rest.

God give me the patience,
To gently, guide their way.
When they come to me with questions,
Please tell me what to say.

When my children drive me crazy Lord,
Show me just what I should do.
And in all of my frustration,
Remind me that I was once a child too.
