Always My Sister
Home · Contact

A lonely wind howls
Across the darkened sky
As if in harmony
With my own sorrowful cries

Alone again!
Into the night I call
Yes, come what may
I am alone through it all

I do not understand
The path that you walk
Nor do I approve
Of the life you have sought

Yet I am with you
Until the very end
For you are always my sister
And forever my friend

So leave me now if you must
Find happiness wherever you roam
But remember always
That you are never alone

For you are like a seedling
That drifts aimlessly through the air
While I, like the earth to which it returns
Will always be there.
