Cycle of Violence

The vicious cycle of violence,
Will we ever see it end?
We must first find the cause
Then stop it before it begins.

People killing people
This was never meant to be,
For God created each of us
Is that so hard to see?

Our world is a battle field
In which we are all pawns
Each one of us responsible
For the pain that is caused.

There is no single answer
To this disease that plagues us all
But if we do not find a cure
The human race shall surely fall.

The vicious cycle of violence,
Will we ever see an end?
Perhaps, once mankind learns
To turn enemies into friends.
