My Lord,
May I never cease to wonder
At the dawn of each new day
May I never take for granted
The sunset’s glorious display
For in the beauty of a sunrise
Your love shows in the morn.
And in hues of pinks and yellows
The promise of a new day is born.
May I never fail to notice
A gentle breeze on a summer night
Or the way that your stars shine
In the darkened evening sky
For ‘tis a cleansing breeze You send
To chase my sorrows away
And in the twinkling sky above
My troubles cannot stay
May I never fail to revel
In a quiet, cleansing rain
Or the loud clap of thunder
Which follows each lightning display
For in the tiniest part of creation
I find a miracle you’ve made
And I marvel at your works my Lord
Found, in each and every day.
